January 14 Echolink StationThe N2BR/R is also connected to Echolink 24 hrs aday,Echolink is VOIP Software any license ham can download and use as a computer users or setup a RF link.
There is over 3,500 hams all around the world useing echolink and i have many friends on this mod of communications.I been on echolink now for 5 1/2 years and look forward to many more to go.
If and when you are in the Cookeville,Tennessee area you are welcome to use the echolink station at any time.Easy to use all you need to know is the node number of the link you want to connect to and the # will diskconnect you. N2BR UHF RepeaterThe N2BR Repeater is located in Algood,Tennessee in Putnam County Grid EM76GE,3 Miles NE of Cookeville,TN and 85 miles East of Nashville,TN.
the N2BR/R is on the frequency of 444.425 + offset with a pl 91.5
the repeater is doing 47 watts to the Hustler G6/440 mhz antenna mounted 25 feet,Useing Motorola Duplexers,The repeater is a Vertex VXR-7000 UHF Repeater.
The repeater cover the town of Algood and parts of Cookeville,Tn and short part of I-40.The N2BR/R Repeater Went on the air in September of 2003.
The repeater is link to the KD4RUE-L Echolink System,Running 24 hrs aday and open to all license ham's.
